The Umbusi Village Association (Umbusi Külaselts) wishes a happy New Year to all our friends near and far. Let the year 2022 bring you peace and joy, as well as exciting new ventures!
We will start the new year with our brand new website. Thanks to an excellent work of Erelin and Camel and the financial support given to us by Põltsamaa municipality, Umbusi Külaselts now has a website with the adress umbusi.ee. Our logo is also new: it is inspired by the beautiful bogbean (Menyanthes trifoliata) growing in the bog of Umbusi. The bogbean has three leaves - let them symbolize the past, the present and the future, which are all equally important to us.
In the new year we will bring you traditional events (such as Midsummer's Eve), but we also plan to develop further the idea of Umbusi as a green village, which has inspired the members of our union already for some time. We are happy that in 2022 we will be able to take some very visible steps in this direction. We will give you more details about these steps soon.
